The ESOL classes atDaytona Stateoffer students with little or no English speaking ability the opportunity to learn English through a series of classes. Students gain English skills through reading, writing, listening and speaking. Instructors for the classes are specialists in teaching English to ESOL students and use real life situations in the classroom to have the most impact for student learning.
DBC ESOL classes can help students
� Learn or improve English skills.
� Develop the skills needed to find a job or get a promotion.
� Prepare for college-level academic courses at DBC.

How To Begin ESOL Classes In 3 easy Steps:
You MUST be admitted by theDaytona StateAdmissions Office before you can take the CASAS test.
You MUST bring a picture ID with you.
1.Go to theDaytona StateAdmissions Office on the campus where you want to attend classes (Daytona Beach, Deltona, DeLand, or Flagler/Palm Coast campuses).
2. Take the CASAS test.
3. Get registered for classes.

Coffee Social
ESOL day and evening classes are available at the Daytona Beach, Deltona, DeLand and the Flagler/Palm Coast campuses. Several community-based classes are also available.
ESOL classes are free. Books are provided for the classroom.
