General Educational Development (GED)
Classes are offered for students whose academic skills are at or above ninth grade level. DBCC seeks to offer GED classes in a variety of ways to meet the flexibility of all students. Classes prepare students for the five subject areas covered on the GED examination. The areas are Writing, including an Essay, Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies.
Free classes are offered both day and evening at various locations throughout Volusia and Flagler County, as well as on television through DBCC's GED Connections program with WCEU TV-15. Additionally, DBCC is now offering the GED on-line. Please click the GED class that fits your schedule the best, for a further explination of each class.
